Creating an Abstract Color Swipe

Tony Sweet
Duration:   1  mins

Do you like long shutter speeds in flower photography? In this video, pro shooter Tony Sweet shows you an interesting variation on this technique with the iPhone Swipe, a Slow Shutter App found on many cell phones.

As an example, Tony shows you how to capture an abstract image of a multi-colored flower garden. You press the Slow Shutter App icon, then slowly move the camera around the composition, capturing a wide-ranging color palette. You can further enhance the iPhone image in editing, bringing out colors, texture, and detail.

The result? A photograph that looks like an impressionist painting.
