Doug shows you how to scout the best environment to locate bucks: open woods in the early morning or late afternoon on overcast days. You will learn that cold, autumn weather brings out active buck behavior. A rutting buck is often moving, protecting his does, aware of every scent, fighting competitive bucks off his territory. Doug recommends early preparation, setting your exposure at a high shutter speed, and using a long lens to keep your distance.
