Tiffany shares strategies for selecting four fabrics that have the right amount of contrast for the design. Then dive right into making the first block, with tips for accurate cutting, sewing and pressing along the way. You'll also see some design variations for quilts that use the first block alone. Block Two

Tiffany introduces the Goddess tool, a template she designed to assist you in the making of the Asteria quilt. It combines several other common quilting tools. You can make your own with the included pattern, then use it for cutting the squares and half-square triangles that make up Block Two, a double-diamond block.
Blocks Three & Four

Start working on Block Three by creating tall triangles and half-tall triangles with Tiffany's guidance. If you're using a patterned fabric, you'll learn how to cut it so that the right side is always showing when you assemble your block. Then use the same patches to create Block Four, a stunning star block.
